Why AI training matters
AI training — also called data labeling, annotation, or human-feedback work — is the human side of how modern AI systems learn. Reviewers, annotators, and QA leads shape model behavior by preparing, evaluating, and improving the examples models see during training and evaluation.
This work is highly flexible and remote, often accessible without prior technical credentials, and offers direct influence on how state-of-the-art systems perform in real languages and cultural contexts.
The role — Danish Quality Assurance Lead
OpenTrain is hiring a Danish Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality for Danish-language AI training projects. This is a part-time contractor role focused on reviewing AI-generated Danish text and trainer QA work, providing precise written feedback, maintaining documentation, and improving QA processes for Danish content.
You will evaluate outputs against project rubrics, identify recurring issues, support onboarding, and help align contributors so guidelines are applied consistently across projects.

Provide clear, actionable written feedback on accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction following.
Identify and escalate recurring quality problems and patterns such as mistranslation, hallucination, ambiguity, or terminology inconsistency.
Maintain and update style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials for Danish projects.
Support trainer and QA communication about project updates, expectations, and alignment.
Propose and help implement process improvements for scalable Danish QA workflows.

Candidates must demonstrate strong Danish language skills, experience with review work, and comfort working with remote collaboration tools.
Native or near-native Danish reading and writing ability (required).
Strong English communication skills for feedback and coordination (required).
Experience reviewing Danish translation, localization, content QA, or AI training evaluations.
Strong grasp of Danish grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context.
Ability to evaluate content against rubrics and detect mistranslation, unnatural phrasing, hallucinations, ambiguity, and terminology inconsistencies.
Comfort using collaboration tools such as Discord, Google Docs, Google Sheets, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.
Who should apply
This role is a strong fit for linguists, translators, localization reviewers, editors, or QA specialists with hands-on experience in Danish content review and a demonstrated eye for detail.
You should be able to work independently as a contractor, produce clear written feedback, and help scale consistent QA practices across distributed contributors.
