The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Czech Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Czech content and trainer or QA submissions for quality, consistency, and alignment with project rubrics. You will provide precise feedback, identify recurring issues, maintain Czech project documentation, support onboarding and training, and help remote contributors follow consistent language standards.

This intermediate-level contractor role focuses on Czech-language AI training projects, including evaluation of fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, and formatting.

What You'll Do

You will combine detailed Czech language review with practical quality operations. The role includes evaluating work against project standards, communicating actionable feedback, and helping maintain the materials and workflows that keep distributed trainer and QA teams aligned.

• Review Czech AI-generated content and trainer or QA work against project guidelines and rubrics.
• Provide clear written feedback on accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural fit.
• Track recurring quality issues and help improve workflows for Czech-language projects.
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Support onboarding, training calls, and day-to-day communication with trainers and QAs.
• Help activate contributors, follow up on availability, and keep quality standards consistent across remote teams.

Required Qualifications

You should be able to make careful, consistent judgments about Czech text and explain those judgments clearly in English. Experience may come from language review, localization, editing, annotation, AI training, or a related quality-focused discipline.

• Native or near-native Czech proficiency with strong reading and writing ability.
• Strong English communication skills for project guidelines and written feedback.
• Experience in Czech writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or similar language-review work.
• Strong grasp of Czech grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, diacritics, declension, gender agreement, tone, register, and cultural context.
• Ability to evaluate Czech content against detailed rubrics and identify mistranslation, literal phrasing, awkward wording, missing diacritics, hallucinated claims, or inconsistent terminology.
• Comfort using remote collaboration tools and working in fast-moving quality workflows.

• Degree in Czech, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt or response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA.
