The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Corporate Law AI Training Attorney to improve next-generation AI systems through expert review of complex legal materials. What You’ll Do

• Analyze scenarios involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, corporate law, and commercial litigation
• Draft, review, and annotate transactional documents and litigation materials with precise legal context
• Distill key facts, arguments, and corporate law issues into structured representations for AI training
• Identify inconsistencies and ambiguities in legal materials and explain their significance
• Provide detailed feedback on model outputs while preserving legal nuance and practical applicability
• Collaborate with technical specialists to express legal reasoning in clear, structured insights

Required Qualifications

This role requires substantial legal training and professional practice. Candidates must be able to analyze sophisticated legal issues, preserve important distinctions, and explain their reasoning to audiences with different levels of technical and legal expertise.

• J.D. from an accredited institution or an international equivalent
• Active bar membership or equivalent authorization to practice law
• At least three years of legal practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, private equity, capital markets, or commercial litigation
• Experience drafting and reviewing transactional documents or litigation materials
• Strong analytical skills and close attention to detail
• Ability to identify ambiguity and synthesize complex legal arguments
• Ability to communicate legal reasoning clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
