The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Corporate Legal Document Review Attorney for a US-based independent contractor project. You will review and create legal content across corporate, litigation, bankruptcy, and compliance areas, assess AI-generated legal responses, and determine whether content is accurate, clear, and aligned with US law.

The role combines legal analysis, structured annotation, scenario writing, quality standard development, and communication with multidisciplinary teams. Prior AI experience is not required because legal domain expertise is central to the work.

What You'll Do

Requirements

This project requires substantial legal expertise and the ability to apply professional judgment to complex documents and AI-generated content. Applicants must meet the following requirements.

• JD degree from an accredited US law school
• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
• Three to fifteen years of substantive experience in corporate law, litigation, bankruptcy, or compliance
• Experience analyzing and annotating complex legal documents
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated legal content for accuracy and compliance with US law
• Strong legal research, writing, reasoning, analytical, and verbal communication skills
• US-based independent practitioner available for 20 or more hours per week
