OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people starting and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect skilled reviewers and annotators with projects that shape how modern AI systems behave—so contributors learn on the job, earn remotely, and grow in a fast-moving field.
Why AI Training Work Matters
AI training (also called data labeling, annotation, or human feedback) is the human side of building intelligent systems. Your evaluations and written model solutions help teach models to reason, be accurate, and communicate clearly in Arabic and English.
These roles are often remote and flexible, a great fit for people who want part-time work with meaningful impact on real AI systems.
The Role
You will review and generate high-quality bilingual (Arabic and English) AI training content to assess and improve correctness, reasoning, clarity, and cultural appropriateness. This is a fully remote, hourly contractor role with a minimum commitment of 20+ hours per week.
OpenTrain AI is the contracting organization for this project; you will work on text tasks that include evaluation ratings and text generation guided by specific rubrics and model-quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate AI-generated responses for step-by-step problem solving, factual correctness, reasoning quality, and clarity in both Arabic and English.
Rate responses using detailed evaluation rubrics and provide written justification for scores.
Write high-quality model solutions or improved responses in Modern Standard Arabic and in English when required.
Identify methodological or logical errors and highlight where models omit critical steps or context.
Fact-check claims using reputable public sources and flag inaccuracies or unsupported assertions.
Ensure localization and cultural nuance for MENA Arabic, including appropriate terminology and formatting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism, or a related field — required.
Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic with strong Modern Standard Arabic writing and editing skills.
Proficiency in at least one major Arabic dialect; Egyptian Arabic preferred.
Minimum C1 English proficiency in reading and writing.
3+ years of professional experience in translation, localization, editorial QA, content quality, or linguistic review.
Demonstrated experience reviewing bilingual Arabic–English content for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Familiarity with Arabic localization conventions for MENA, including terminology, formatting, and cultural nuance.
Strong fact-checking skills using reputable public sources when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation workflows is preferred but not strictly required.
Experience writing model solutions or working with evaluation rubrics for language-model outputs.
Prior work on bilingual content for digital products or localization projects.
