About AI Training and Language Quality Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors review examples, evaluate model responses, annotate data, and provide feedback that helps AI systems become more accurate, useful, and culturally appropriate.

In this role, your Bengali language expertise will help assess generated content and contributor work. Your reviews will support consistent standards across projects and help improve how AI handles Bengali wording, meaning, tone, and regional usage.

The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Bengali Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality and consistency across Bengali AI training projects. You will review AI-generated Bengali content as well as trainer and QA submissions, assess work against project rubrics, and provide precise written feedback.

You will also help identify recurring issues, support onboarding, maintain Bengali project documentation, and keep trainers and QAs aligned on updates, expectations, and language standards. This is an intermediate-level contractor role for someone comfortable combining detailed language review with remote quality coordination.

• Pay: Up to $25 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Review Bengali AI-generated content and trainer or QA submissions for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction-following.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate clear, actionable feedback to trainers and QAs.
• Maintain Bengali style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, onboarding materials, and quality notes.
• Support onboarding and training calls for trainers and QAs.
• Answer questions about Bengali wording, register, translation fidelity, cultural context, and Bangladesh versus West Bengal usage.
• Monitor contributor activity and help keep quality workflows moving across remote teams.

Required Qualifications

You should have strong Bengali reading and writing ability at a native or near-native level, along with strong English communication skills for writing guidelines, delivering feedback, and coordinating with teams.

• Background in Bengali writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review work.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify mistranslation, awkward phrasing, inconsistent terminology, and other quality issues.
• Experience reviewing Bengali translation, localization, or language QA work.
• Experience working with remote collaborators and quality documentation.
• Ability to apply detailed rubrics to content quality issues.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Bengali, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Experience leading or supporting trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Familiarity with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt or response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA.
