The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking Bengali Bilingual Experts for a remote, contract-based language and AI training project. You will listen to Bengali audio clips and assess the speaker's or model output's nativeness, fluency, pronunciation, and overall quality.

The expected project duration is 3 to 6 months. You will work comfortably in both Bengali and English, providing written and verbal feedback in English where required.

What You'll Do

You will complete structured audio review and evaluation tasks according to established guidelines. Your observations will help improve the quality and naturalness of AI-generated Bengali content.

Accuracy, consistency, and clear justification are essential throughout the project.

• Listen to Bengali audio clips and evaluate nativeness, fluency, and overall quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, and linguistic authenticity.
• Identify issues involving pronunciation, fluency, naturalness, and language usage.
• Provide concise written feedback in English with important linguistic observations.
• Document detailed justifications for evaluations.
• Follow evaluation criteria consistently and complete assigned tasks within required timelines.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve language-related ambiguities.
• Contribute Bengali language insights that support AI understanding and generation.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in AI, data annotation, or language evaluation is helpful but not required. The most important qualifications are native-level Bengali proficiency, fluent English, careful listening, and strong attention to detail.

A background in linguistics, phonetics, voice specialization, music, audio engineering, language teaching, media, communications, education, or a related field is preferred. Experience with audio analysis, transcription, language annotation, or audio labeling workflows is highly valued.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with fluent English communication.
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal feedback in English.
