The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking an accountant or tax professional to evaluate AI-generated plain-English translations of US tax laws, statutes, and IRS regulations. You will compare translations with the underlying legal text and assess whether statutory logic, terminology, conditions, thresholds, exceptions, and defined terms are preserved.
This role combines US tax-law interpretation with structured evaluation of AI-generated content. The position is listed as entry level and pays $30–$35 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will review legal and regulatory content carefully, identify discrepancies, and communicate precise findings through a digital review interface. Your evaluations will contribute tax expertise and logical reasoning to iterative improvements in AI training-data quality.
Read and interpret original US tax laws, statutes, and IRS regulations
Review AI-produced plain-English translations for accuracy and legal alignment
Assess whether tax terminology and statutory logic are preserved
Approve reliable translations or provide directive written feedback on inaccuracies and ambiguities
Create and review test scenarios, including edge cases, to assess translation robustness
Submit detailed, structured evaluations through a digital review interface
Analyze and communicate statutory nuances, exceptions, and logical relationships
Required Qualifications
You must have an active CPA license or Chartered Accountant designation, significant experience as a US tax attorney, or enrolled agent experience. You should be able to interpret US statutes, IRS regulations, and complex legal tax frameworks, with experience reviewing or drafting legal or regulatory documents beyond tax return preparation.
