OpenTrain AI is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect experts with specialized projects where their knowledge helps shape the next generation of artificial intelligence.
As a Tax and Audit AI Training Expert, you will apply your professional experience to improve the accuracy, reasoning, compliance logic, and practical usefulness of AI-generated financial content.
AI training is the human side of building modern artificial intelligence. Experts review model responses, write high-quality examples, compare competing answers, and provide detailed feedback so AI systems become more accurate, reliable, and useful.
This work is remote and can offer flexible part-time scheduling. Your tax and audit knowledge will directly support the development of models that handle technical explanations, compliance reasoning, financial reporting relationships, and audit documentation.
OpenTrain AI is recruiting an expert-level Tax and Audit AI Training Expert for hourly, remote contractor work. You will review AI-generated tax and audit responses, create expert accounting content, and produce gold-standard explanations and model solutions.
The role covers tax scenarios, audit programs, workpaper examples, control assessments, risk analysis, financial reporting links, and related technical explanations. You should be reliable, self-directed, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working across time zones.
You will assess whether AI-generated answers are technically correct, clearly reasoned, complete, and practically useful. Your feedback should identify specific errors and explain the defensible approach an expert would take.
You will also develop high-quality training examples and test outputs for safety, bias, noncompliance risk, and weak connections to financial reporting.
Applicants should have substantial professional experience in tax, audit, or both, along with the ability to fact-check complex technical content and communicate conclusions clearly in English.
The strongest candidates will be comfortable connecting tax and audit conclusions to financial statement impacts and evaluating whether technical answers are internally consistent and adequately supported.
