The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Thai Audio Recording and Editing Specialist to create and refine professional speech recordings for high-quality datasets used in AI training. You will combine Thai-language recording, audio editing, and quality review to help preserve accurate linguistic nuances, clear intonation, and strong technical quality.

This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. The listed experience level is entry level, while the role specifically requires at least three years of professional audio recording and editing experience.

What You'll Do

You will produce, refine, and evaluate Thai speech recordings according to defined project standards. The work requires both strong language judgment and careful technical execution.

• Produce clear, professional Thai audio recordings using professional-grade equipment.
• Edit and enhance audio for clarity, accurate intonation, and minimal background noise.
• Follow required file-naming, formatting, and delivery standards.
• Review recordings for linguistic accuracy and technical quality before submission.
• Identify background noise, clarity issues, intonation problems, and other quality defects.
• Coordinate remotely with project managers and other contributors to clarify requirements and align on best practices.
• Meet project milestones through timely and reliable delivery of assigned work.

Requirements

Successful applicants should be able to deliver polished, accurate audio consistently and communicate effectively in a remote environment. Native or near-native Thai fluency is essential for preserving precise linguistic details in speech content.

• At least three years of professional audio recording and editing experience, especially with speech or language content.
• Native or near-native fluency in Thai.
• Ability to preserve precise Thai linguistic nuances and accurate intonation.
• Access to and proficiency with high-quality, professional-grade recording and editing equipment.
• Ability to identify background noise, clarity issues, intonation problems, and other technical defects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and feedback.
• Careful attention to detail and a record of delivering polished, accurate audio.
• Effective time management and reliable delivery against defined standards.

Helpful Background

Experience producing audio datasets for technology, education, or broadcast projects can be helpful. Background in voice-over, podcast, music, narration, or other audio-sample production may also support success in this work.
