About AI Training Work

The Role

We are hiring a Telugu Music Audio Expert to evaluate AI-generated music outputs with a focus on lyrics, vocal generation, musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality. You will also score musical training data and annotate songs using a structured taxonomy for genre, sub-genre, structure, and vocal or instrumental characteristics.

• Work involves detailed audio judgment and using audio-engineering terminology to compare AI samples head-to-head.
• This is a contract, part-time role working with audio data and producing ratings and classifications.

What You'll Do

Bring your musical and technical judgment to evaluate AI music outputs and label training audio so models learn to generate better Telugu lyrical music.

• Evaluate AI-generated music across lyrics, voice generation, musicality, creativity, and prompt adherence.
• Assess vocal quality and production or mix quality using audio-engineering terms.
• Score musical training data quality to support model training.
• Annotate songs for genre, sub-genre, structure, and vocal or instrumental characteristics.
• Compare AI-generated samples head-to-head and justify ratings with technical observations.

Requirements

You must bring hands-on experience producing and evaluating music plus native or near-native language fluency to judge Telugu lyrical content accurately.

• 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer.
• Strong understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Prior experience writing lyrical music in Telugu.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu and English; able to understand directions in English.
• Comfort using audio-engineering terminology to compare and describe AI-generated music.

Project Details & Pay

This is a remote contractor role that starts immediately and runs up to six months. Expect a part-time commitment with a baseline hourly pay range and structured annotation and rating tasks.

• Start date: Immediate.
• Duration: Up to 6 months.
• Commitment: Part-time, 20+ hours per week (contractor).
• Work arrangement: Fully remote.
• Pay: USD $10.80–$19.44 per hour (top rate listed at $19.44/hr).
