About AI Training and Code Evaluation

The Role

OpenTrain is seeking highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineers for an AI training project focused on software development, debugging, system architecture, technical problem-solving, and code evaluation.

You will work across front-end and back-end systems rather than specializing exclusively in one layer. The work includes creating, solving, reviewing, and validating challenging software-engineering tasks, as well as helping translate complete coding builds from one programming language into another.

• Role type: Part-time contractor
• Work location: Global remote, limited to specified countries
• Schedule: Flexible hours and days, including weekends when project activity is available

• Listed hourly pay range: USD $50 to $100 per hour
• Stated hourly rate: USD $75 per hour

What You'll Work On

This role requires meaningful hands-on experience across the application stack. You will investigate unfamiliar repositories, follow requests and data through interconnected systems, and evaluate whether technical implementations work as intended.

• Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components
• Implement user-facing features and the services, APIs, and data models that support them
• Trace requests and data across browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations
• Work inside unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architecture
• Diagnose failures involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment
• Evaluate and improve code written in multiple programming languages
• Create, solve, review, and validate challenging software-engineering tasks
• Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability
• Help translate full coding builds from one programming language into another

Required Qualifications

This opportunity is intended for experienced full-stack engineers who can reason across complete software systems and contribute effectively in unfamiliar technical environments. Strong practical debugging and problem-solving ability is essential.

• Strong professional experience developing production full-stack applications
• Meaningful hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end engineering
• Production experience with multiple programming languages
• Strong knowledge of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integration
• Experience understanding and contributing to the architecture of complete software systems
• Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases
• Strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills
• Fluent English proficiency
