About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Spanish Voice Recording Specialist to create studio-quality Spanish voice-over audio for AI training and multilingual media projects. You will record one finished hour from provided scripts, shape performances for different audiences and formats, respond to creative direction, and deliver polished audio after editing, mastering, and cleanup. The work may include commercials, corporate narration, e-learning, audiobooks, and digital media, with an emphasis on clear, engaging, versatile delivery.

What you will do
You will record Spanish voice-overs from a professional home studio or in-studio setting, interpret scripts, and perform lines with clarity, emotion, and appropriate pacing. You will adapt tone, pitch, and style for different audiences and formats, revise performances in response to feedback, and deliver high-quality audio files in the required format. The work also involves applying recording best practices and basic cleanup, leveling, noise reduction, and file-formatting knowledge.

Required skills
Candidates should have at least three years of professional voice recording experience, fluent Spanish with excellent pronunciation and diction, and a portfolio, demo reel, or samples showing studio-grade work. Strong vocal range, microphone technique, professional recording practices, and access to a high-quality microphone and recording setup are required. You should be able to follow direction, meet deadlines, manage quick turnarounds, and perform consistently across commercials, narration, e-learning, audiobooks, or digital media. Basic sound-editing knowledge is also useful for preparing clean, correctly formatted files.

Compensation and work arrangement
This is a flexible remote contractor opportunity. Compensation is USD 200 per finished hour, where a finished hour includes editing, mastering, and cleanup according to the scripts and directions. A one-time USD 20 onboarding and setup fee is also provided.

Helpful background
Experience with dubbing, ADR, localization, acting, performing arts, or audio-editing tools is helpful. A demo reel showing multiple voice styles is valuable.
