About AI Training Work

The Role

As Slovenian Quality Assurance Lead, you will review Slovenian-language AI outputs and trainer or QA submissions across Slovenian AI training projects. You will evaluate work against project guidelines and rubrics while helping contributors stay aligned on standards for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, formatting, and meaning preservation.

You will also provide precise written feedback, monitor recurring quality issues, support onboarding and communication, maintain project documentation, and contribute to scalable quality assurance processes.

What You'll Do

You will combine careful Slovenian language review with consistent rubric-based judgment. Your feedback will help identify individual issues and reveal recurring patterns that can improve training, documentation, and project workflows.

• Review Slovenian-language outputs and trainer or QA submissions for quality, consistency, and guideline adherence
• Identify problems with grammar, spelling, tone, terminology, instruction-following, and formatting
• Provide clear written feedback and escalate recurring or critical quality problems
• Support trainer and QA communication, onboarding, and training
• Maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and quality notes
• Contribute to workflow improvements and scalable QA processes for Slovenian-language projects

Required Qualifications

This role requires strong Slovenian language judgment, excellent written communication, and the ability to apply detailed standards consistently. You should be comfortable reviewing language work carefully, explaining your decisions, and coordinating with remote project teams.

• Native or near-native Slovenian with strong reading, writing, editing, and review ability
• Strong English communication skills for project guidelines, feedback, and team coordination
• Experience in Slovenian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related language review
• Strong understanding of Slovenian grammar, declension, case endings, dual form, register, and cultural context
• Comfort working with remote teams and documentation tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
• Detail-oriented approach to rubric-based review and feedback

Helpful Background

The following experience is helpful but not required. Candidates may bring a background in language, communications, education, quality assurance, or AI training.

• Degree in Slovenian, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, or quality assurance
• Experience leading or supporting remote trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt or response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA
• Experience reviewing Slovenian translation, localization, or quality assurance work
