Why AI training work matters
AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human side of building AI — people prepare and review real-world examples that models learn from. This work is remote, flexible, and accessible: many projects do not require previous experience beyond language fluency and attention to detail.
Contributors directly shape how state-of-the-art systems behave by providing high-quality transcriptions, translations, and human evaluation — work that’s both cutting-edge and practical for building a long-term freelance portfolio.
