The role

OpenTrain is recruiting a contractor to transcribe and annotate bilingual Gã–English video content. The position combines verbatim transcription, timestamping, tone/intent analysis, grammatical and syntactic annotation, and cultural-context notes to produce structured outputs for model training.

Employment type: part-time contractor. Data type: video. Labeling tasks include transcription, translation/localization, and entity/NER classification.

What you’ll do

• Transcribe video content in both Gã and English with precision and clear formatting.
• Add accurate timestamps that synchronize text to video segments.
• Analyze and label speaker emotion, tone, and intent for nuanced understanding.
• Annotate grammar, vocabulary, and syntactic structures in both languages.
• Identify and tag named entities and relevant items per project schema.
• Capture conceptual meaning and cultural context in annotation notes.
• Deliver structured outputs that follow project guidelines and deadlines.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Gã proficiency and fluency in English.
• Strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
