The work
You will turn hands-on troubleshooting experience into clear, reliable written input for AI training. The work focuses on industrial equipment fault diagnosis, technical reasoning, and evaluating practical solutions.
You will work across systems such as industrial equipment, HVAC, elevators, heavy machinery, marine and rail equipment, utilities, and telecommunications.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic layouts, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Diagnose performance problems and identify likely fault pathways.
- Review PLC logic and industrial controls to find root causes.
- Write reports covering troubleshooting methods, findings, corrective actions, and maintenance or repair strategies.
- Evaluate technical scenarios against NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, OSHA, and other relevant US requirements.
- Explain diagnostic decisions and technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
