The Role
OpenTrain is seeking Senior Accountant Experts for a remote contractor project expected to run for 1 to 3 months. You will contribute specialized corporate accounting and financial compliance expertise to help develop and evaluate training data.

What You'll Do
You will review professional materials and help assess whether financial, accounting, tax, audit, and legal-document content is accurate, complete, logically structured, and aligned with applicable requirements. You will also support datasets used to train and evaluate AI systems.
Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness
Provide insights based on established accounting standards
Assess audit procedures and identify gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations
Create and assess financial models for logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights
Analyze tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues
Review legal and financial documents for clarity, correctness, and regulatory alignment
Deliver clear, constructive written and verbal feedback to cross-functional teams
Support AI-training datasets using experience with labeling, annotation, or model evaluation
Requirements
This role is designed for a strong and reliable accounting professional who can work independently and collaboratively on project engagements. No previous AI experience is required, but relevant human data project experience is preferred.
5 or more years of corporate-level accounting experience
Experience handling complex financial scenarios
Strong financial reporting and audit procedure skills
Financial modeling expertise
