The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Sales and Revenue Operations AI Task Author to create expert-level training and evaluation tasks for advanced AI agents. You will translate real enterprise revenue workflows into realistic, objectively gradable challenges involving CRM systems, orders, email, chat, bookings, fulfillment, and recognized revenue.

This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role for professionals working with enterprise revenue operations workflows. The role is listed as entry level and requires 20 or more hours per week. Work is available to candidates in the United States who work in English.

What You'll Do

You will design realistic business scenarios, define how responses should be evaluated, and test each task to confirm that it is both challenging and reliably gradable. The work combines revenue operations knowledge with careful prompt design, rubric development, and AI model evaluation.

• Author task prompts grounded in bookings reconciliation and account discrepancies
• Create scenarios involving fulfillment pipelines and revenue recognition
• Write scoring rubrics with accurate, verifiable answers and evaluation standards
• Configure realistic business-system environments for AI agents to use
• Solve each task to validate its soundness and rubric accuracy
• Test tasks against AI models and refine complexity, ambiguity, and workflow steps
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts and rubrics when needed

Requirements

You should bring hands-on revenue operations, sales operations, or closely related experience in an industrial or enterprise company. The role requires practical familiarity with multi-system business workflows and the ability to turn that experience into precise AI evaluation tasks.

• Revenue operations or sales operations experience in an industrial or enterprise setting
• Deep familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
• Ability to query and interpret account and bookings data
• Strong understanding of bookings, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition
• Ability to reconcile CRM, bookings, fulfillment, and revenue-recognition information
• Ability to define precise, verifiable correctness criteria
• Comfort using business communication tools and dashboards in multi-system workflows
• Willingness to test, refine, and retest tasks until they are reliably calibrated

Helpful Background

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is helpful. Enterprise B2B experience involving complex deal structures is also valuable, particularly if you can explain how to create a difficult AI task that remains clearly and objectively gradable.
