The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Sales and Revenue Operations AI Task Author to design expert training tasks for advanced AI agents. You will translate realistic enterprise workflows into clear, challenging, and objectively gradable tasks involving CRM systems, orders, email, chat, fulfillment, bookings, and recognized revenue.

This is a worldwide, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. The role is conducted in English and pays $20–$50 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will create and validate tasks that reflect the decisions, systems, and data checks used by real sales and revenue operations teams. Your work will help determine whether AI agents can follow complex workflows and produce correct, verifiable outcomes.

• Author prompts based on bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment status, and recognized revenue
• Write scoring rubrics defining correct answers and evaluation standards
• Configure task environments that reflect human revenue operations workflows
• Solve tasks yourself to validate their soundness and gradability
• Test tasks against AI models and adjust complexity, ambiguity, or required steps
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts or rubrics when needed

Required Experience and Skills

You should have hands-on revenue operations, sales operations, or closely related experience in an industrial or enterprise company. The role requires practical understanding of how CRM, bookings, fulfillment, and revenue recognition processes work together.

• Hands-on revenue operations or sales operations experience in an industrial or enterprise environment
• Ability to query and interpret CRM account and bookings data, including Salesforce workflows
• Strong understanding of bookings, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition concepts
• Ability to create precise, verifiable rubrics and objectively gradable correctness criteria
• Comfort working across business email, chat, dashboards, and connected systems
• Judgment for calibrating task complexity, ambiguity, and required steps against AI model performance

Helpful Background

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is useful. A background in enterprise B2B environments with complex deal structures can also help you create realistic scenarios that challenge capable AI agents while remaining clear and objectively gradable.
