The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Russian Audio Language Evaluator to support AI training through careful review of Russian speech and model outputs. You will assess whether audio sounds native and fluent, examine pronunciation and intonation, and provide language-focused judgments that improve Russian-language AI understanding and generation.

This individual contractor role is suited to someone with strong Russian language intuition and the ability to explain nuanced judgments clearly in English.

What You'll Do

You will review Russian audio and model-generated speech according to established evaluation guidelines. Your feedback must be accurate, consistent, and detailed enough to support quality review and model improvement.

• Listen to Russian audio clips and evaluate speaker or model-output nativeness and fluency.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity.
• Write concise English feedback identifying relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for your evaluations.
• Clarify ambiguous language content with project coordinators.
• Complete assigned audio review work accurately and on time.
• Share insights that support improvements in Russian-language AI understanding and generation.

Requirements

You should be able to make well-supported, consistent judgments about speech and model-generated language while communicating your reasoning clearly. Careful attention to detail is essential when applying evaluation guidelines.

• Native-level Russian proficiency in spoken and written communication.
• At least B2 English proficiency for detailed written feedback and verbal clarification.
• Strong ability to distinguish pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and linguistic authenticity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to articulate nuanced differences in language and speech.

Helpful Background
