The Role
OpenTrain AI is engaging Revenue Operations and CRM Systems Specialists with expert-level SaaS experience for a complex systems alignment project. You will analyze operational data and policies, identify inconsistencies across revenue systems, and create precise written guidance for complex or ambiguous scenarios.
The contract is expected to run for 1 to 3 months and requires less than 20 hours per week. Compensation is $45 to $90 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will apply hands-on revenue operations and CRM systems expertise to review interconnected SaaS workflows and produce clear, defensible recommendations. Your documentation should support transparent decision-making for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analyze CRM, billing, and ticketing data to find misalignment between operational logic and policies.
- Identify and document policy conflicts, outdated automations, duplicate entities, permissions mismatches, and ambiguous or undocumented processes.
- Draft precise operational prompts and recommendations for complex or ambiguous situations within the SaaS revenue stack.
- Evaluate the desired state of underlying data, correct discrepancies, and ensure logical consistency across systems.
- Record the rationale for changes and explain areas intentionally left untouched.
- Use critical judgment when conflicting rules or cascading changes affect multiple systems.
- Create thorough written documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Expertise
This is an expert-level role for professionals who have personally owned and configured revenue systems. Candidates should be comfortable making operational judgments, documenting exceptions, and explaining nuanced trade-offs in professional English.
- 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in revenue operations, sales operations, customer success operations, or SaaS implementation and onboarding with direct system ownership.
- Experience personally configuring CRM fields, workflows, validation rules, and permissions.
- Experience with at least two adjacent SaaS revenue tools, such as billing and subscription management, CPQ and quoting, ticketing and support, project tracking, or automation and integration platforms.
- Background in SaaS environments, particularly fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or complex multi-product implementations.
- Ability to assess and manage changes that cascade across interconnected systems.
- Comfort navigating and documenting grey areas and exceptions, especially around renewals and entitlement changes.
- Strong written and verbal communication of nuanced reasoning and operational trade-offs.
- Expertise in SaaS revenue operations and CRM systems.
- Strong data accuracy and reporting skills.
- Native or bilingual English proficiency.
