The Revenue Operations AI Task Author Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Revenue Operations AI Task Author to design expert-level tasks based on realistic enterprise workflows. You will turn revenue operations or sales operations experience into scenarios involving CRM records, orders, account discrepancies, fulfillment status, bookings reconciliation, and recognized revenue.

The role is listed as entry level, but it requires hands-on revenue operations, sales operations, or closely related enterprise experience. Candidates should be comfortable converting everyday business-system work into clear prompts, workflows, and correctness standards.

What You'll Do

You will design, validate, and refine tasks that test whether AI agents can reason through complex revenue operations workflows. Each task should reflect realistic enterprise work while providing enough structure for performance to be evaluated consistently.

• Author prompts based on bookings reconciliation, account discrepancies, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition
• Write scoring rubrics that specify what a correct answer must contain and how it should be evaluated
• Configure task environments that reflect enterprise systems and communication channels
• Solve each task yourself to validate its logic, soundness, and grading criteria
• Test tasks against AI models and refine complexity, ambiguity, and workflow steps
• Review and correct AI-drafted prompts or rubrics when needed

Required Qualifications

This project is designed for professionals who understand how revenue and sales operations work across enterprise systems. You should be able to query and interpret business data, recognize workflow dependencies, and define correctness standards that can be verified rather than judged only by general impression.

• Hands-on revenue operations or sales operations experience in an enterprise or industrial setting

• Strong familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and related workflows
• Understanding of bookings reconciliation, fulfillment pipelines, and revenue recognition
• Ability to create precise, objectively verifiable scoring criteria for AI outputs
• Experience designing, testing, or refining complex multi-system business workflows
• Comfort working with email, chat, dashboards, and connected enterprise workflows

Helpful Experience

Experience training or evaluating AI tools in a sales or revenue context is helpful. Background with complex enterprise B2B deal structures can also help you create scenarios that challenge capable AI agents without making the grading subjective.
