The Role

OpenTrain is seeking Product and Engineering Experts to review and reconstruct executive-level PowerPoint presentations. What You'll Do

Each slide assignment typically requires one to two hours and is completed as part of flexible project-based sprints. You will balance technical accuracy, editorial judgment, visual communication, and executive audience needs throughout the reconstruction process.

  • Preserve technical definitions, system constraints, dependencies, factual accuracy, and important caveats
  • Improve slide clarity, data visualization, message hierarchy, and visual storytelling
  • Edit slide content, layouts, and supporting graphics while maintaining the original context and strategic intent
  • Create a detailed rationale log explaining improvements, retained elements, and rejected changes
  • Provide clear, plain-language explanations for engineering leads and senior executive stakeholders

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

This role is designed for experienced product and engineering practitioners or consultants who can defend thoughtful design and editorial decisions. Prior experience with AI model training, evaluation, data annotation, or rubric writing is helpful but not required.

  • Three or more years of experience in product management, engineering leadership, technical program management, or technical consulting
  • Hands-on experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, board members, or clients
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency, including complex visual layouts and technical data visualization
  • Strong critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional written communication and the ability to explain message hierarchy, evidence-supported titles, and visual flow
  • Product engineering and executive business presentation subject matter expertise
  • Native or bilingual English proficiency
  • Management consulting experience is welcome but not required

Apply if you combine deep product or engineering knowledge with the ability to turn complex information into accurate, persuasive executive communication. The project welcomes industry practitioners and consultants who are comfortable making careful visual, structural, and editorial decisions.

  • Product managers and product strategists
  • Software or systems engineering professionals
  • Technical program managers
  • Engineering leaders and technical consultants
  • Professionals experienced in roadmaps, system designs, architecture, or program updates
  • Experts who can work comfortably in English and meet the location requirements
