The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a remote Polish language specialist to review AI-generated Polish content, create Polish reference answers, and evaluate model outputs. You will assess correctness, fluency, tone, cultural appropriateness, grammar, spelling, register, and logical consistency.

The role also includes fact-checking claims when needed, writing effective rewrites and model answers, and comparing multiple AI responses to identify the highest-quality output. This is an entry-level contractor opportunity for candidates with strong Polish and English language skills and relevant language-focused experience.

What You’ll Do

You will apply careful linguistic judgment and consistent evaluation standards across a range of AI-generated content. Your feedback will help identify subtle language problems and improve model behavior in real-world use cases.

• Review AI-generated Polish content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural fit.
• Identify mistranslations, ambiguity, register issues, logical inconsistencies, and prompt-adherence problems.
• Fact-check claims when needed and rewrite text to improve clarity and correctness.
• Create gold-standard Polish answers and prompts across multiple domains.
• Rate and compare model responses based on correctness and overall quality.
• Flag unsafe, misleading, or biased language.
• Validate response reliability across different use cases.

Requirements

You should have native or near-native Polish proficiency, strong English communication skills, and the ability to explain language judgments in detailed written feedback. Careful attention to nuance is essential, especially when identifying meaning shifts, awkward literal translations, and culturally mismatched phrasing.

A bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Polish or English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related area is preferred, along with relevant experience. Prior AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation is a strong plus.

• Native or near-native Polish writing ability
• Strong professional English proficiency for detailed written feedback
• Deep knowledge of Polish grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and multiple registers
• Experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or similar language-focused work
• Ability to spot mistranslations, hallucinations, factual errors, and subtle meaning changes
• Experience judging translation quality, register, tone, and cultural fit
• Familiarity with AI data training, translation quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation is advantageous
