About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting a remote contractor to support the development and evaluation of psychiatric materials used to train AI systems. This work combines clinical expertise, Malay-speaking cultural context, bilingual communication, and careful review of sensitive mental health content. The advertised rate is $100‑$200 per hour.

What you will do
Develop complex psychiatric case studies that reflect real-world and culturally nuanced scenarios. Conduct psychological assessments and create expert annotations based on Malay-language psychiatric practices. Produce precise clinical documentation and written analyses in Malay and English. Review and critique AI evaluation methods in mental health contexts. Provide feedback to improve psychiatric information exchange and bilingual communication frameworks. Apply ethical judgment, confidentiality, and clinical best practices when handling sensitive case content. Collaborate with interdisciplinary AI project teams and contribute domain expertise to model development.

Required skills
You must have an MD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree, completed psychiatry residency, and a valid medical license. Fluent Malay fluency and advanced proficiency in English, including written and verbal communication, are required. Strong experience with psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation in Malay-speaking clinical settings is expected. You should bring cultural sensitivity, ethical reasoning, and the ability to evaluate complex mental health scenarios.

Helpful background
Experience creating teaching materials or psychiatric case studies for education or research is valuable. Familiarity with Western and Malay-language psychiatric frameworks, interdisciplinary technology or digital health projects, and analytical evaluation methods will help you contribute effectively.
