About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Cantonese-speaking psychologist, fluent in Cantonese and English, to support AI training through careful review and development of psychological content. You will work with case studies, documentation, assessments, and model-generated material, applying clinical and academic expertise to evaluate accuracy, ethics, cultural fit, and alignment with psychological best practices. The role is distinctive in its focus on preserving nuanced psychological meaning across Cantonese and English.
What you will do
You will analyze psychological case studies and documentation, providing feedback grounded in professional experience. You will develop culturally sensitive psychological scenarios and materials in Cantonese and English for data enrichment and model training. You will evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, ethical considerations, and alignment with psychological best practices. You will interpret and refine psychological assessments across languages and cultural contexts. You will record evaluation processes and findings clearly to support transparency and reproducibility. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary contributors to address diverse user needs.
Required skills
Candidates must hold a PhD in Psychology and have demonstrated experience in both clinical and academic settings. The role requires professional fluency in Cantonese and English, including complex psychological terminology, as well as experience developing or evaluating case studies and psychological assessments. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, sound ethical judgment, excellent written and verbal communication, cultural sensitivity, adaptability in multicultural environments, and familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration and documentation are required.
Helpful background
Experience treating patients, maintaining an active clinical license, publishing relevant psychological research, or working with AI and technology can complement the core qualifications. Candidates should be comfortable explaining nuanced professional decisions and distinguishing clinically sound, culturally appropriate content from material that requires revision.
Schedule, location, and compensation
This is a remote contractor role. Compensation is $100‑$200 per hour.
