About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting for a Cantonese-Speaking Psychiatric AI Training Expert to develop and evaluate complex psychiatric case studies that help improve AI systems in mental health contexts. The work combines psychiatric expertise, culturally nuanced clinical reasoning, bilingual documentation, and careful review of analytical evaluation methods. You will contribute real-world perspectives that help models understand psychiatric concepts across Cantonese-language and Western frameworks.

What you will do
Develop complex psychiatric case studies for AI model training. Conduct psychological assessments and create expert annotations reflecting Cantonese-language psychiatric practices. Produce precise clinical documentation and written analyses in Cantonese and English. Review AI evaluation methods used in mental health contexts and provide expert feedback. Build bilingual communication frameworks for accurate psychiatric information exchange. Apply ethical reasoning, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality when reviewing sensitive case content. Collaborate with interdisciplinary technology, research, or digital health teams.

Required skills
An MD, MBBS, or equivalent medical degree, completed psychiatry residency, and valid medical license are required. Candidates should have fluent Cantonese fluency and advanced written and verbal English, extensive psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation experience in Cantonese-speaking clinical settings, and familiarity with Western and Cantonese-language psychiatric frameworks. Strong ethical judgment and cultural sensitivity in complex mental health scenarios are essential.

Helpful background
Experience developing teaching materials or case studies for educational or research purposes, as well as experience with interdisciplinary technology, research, or digital health projects, will be useful.

Schedule, location, and pay
This is a remote contractor opportunity. The source-backed compensation range is $100‑$200 per hour. The project schedule and duration will be confirmed for the engagement.
