About AI training and why it matters
AI training (also called data labeling or annotation) is the human work that teaches models to write, translate, summarize, and follow instructions. Contributors directly shape how state-of-the-art systems behave, and this work is often remote, flexible, and accessible without prior AI experience.
This role focuses on language-quality work: ensuring Lithuanian text produced by models and contributors is accurate, fluent, culturally appropriate, and aligned with project rubrics and style guides.
The role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Lithuanian Quality Assurance Lead to review Lithuanian AI-generated content and trainer/QA submissions across Lithuanian-language projects. You will evaluate outputs against guidelines, give precise written feedback, track recurring issues, and help maintain onboarding and documentation.
This is a part-time contractor role for residents of Lithuania: 20+ hours per week at USD 35.00 per hour. Work centers on text evaluation (label type: evaluation_rating) and requires close coordination with remote teams using tools like Discord, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
Employment: Contractor, part-time

Location: Lithuania (remote)
Data type: Text; label type: Evaluation rating
