About this role
OpenTrain is hiring a Lightworks Post-Production AI Training Specialist to review and evaluate AI-generated guidance for advanced editing and post-production workflows. You will assess instructions about trimming, console-driven edit operations, bin management, export formats, AVID and ProTools interchange, EDL and XML compatibility, Lightworks layout behavior, metadata handling, project sharing, node-based VFX, and cinematic color workflows.

What you will do
- Review AI-generated instructions tied to Lightworks editing workflows and advanced post-production operations
- Evaluate the model's understanding of specialized Lightworks features, including the Shark console, multi-cam workflows, and VFX routing
- Validate export and delivery guidance, including AVID and ProTools interchange plus EDL and XML compatibility
- Check whether the AI describes Lightworks interface behavior, metadata handling, and collaborative project sharing correctly
- Troubleshoot advanced post-production scenarios and document findings clearly
- Provide expert feedback on node-based VFX techniques and cinematic color workflows

Required skills
- Professional mastery of Lightworks, with keyboard-driven editing logic and rapid workflow efficiency
- Strong knowledge of professional video production and editing techniques
- Experience with proxy workflows, link-based and local media, and asset organization
- Hands-on experience with node-based visual effects and LUT color grading
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues in project sharing and metadata workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background as a Film Editor, Post-Production Specialist, or Video Producer

Helpful background
- Experience with AI or automation in post-production
- Experience with advanced delivery specifications and broadcast standards
- Leadership in remote, collaborative editing environments
