The Role

As a Video Editor AI Training Specialist you will review and refine AI-generated animations and visual effects, organize project files and media assets, and create evaluation rubrics and curated datasets for video, animation, and instructional content.

Projects focus on video data (label type: evaluation/rating, classification, and text generation for feedback). You will collaborate remotely, provide written and verbal feedback, and help identify edge cases and improvements for visual and narrative generation.

What You'll Do

• Review, evaluate, and refine animations and visual effects outputs to meet project objectives and quality standards.
• Organize, label, and maintain structured media assets and project files to support dataset creation and annotation workflows.
• Assess AI-generated media for visual quality, factual accuracy, narrative coherence, and instructional clarity.
• Develop rubrics and evaluation frameworks to standardize ratings and guide annotators.
• Curate media datasets and identify weaknesses, edge cases, and opportunities to improve model outputs.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback and collaborate with remote teams to iterate on guidelines and samples.

Requirements

This role requires demonstrated expertise in video editing and post-production along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. It is listed as entry level but requires a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in video or visual media production as stated in the role details.

How It Works

This is a remote contractor role with OpenTrain AI. You can work from anywhere (worldwide) and schedule work flexibly to fit other commitments. The position is part-time, targeted at 20+ hours per week.
