The Role

As a Legal AI Task Generation and Evaluation Expert, you will create, review, and refine expert-level legal tasks and solutions. Your work will span contract, litigation-support, and legal-research contexts, with a focus on technical accuracy, clarity, practical applicability, and consistent quality.

You will follow guidance from the functional subject-matter expert lead, incorporate calibration feedback from senior review, and deliver legal outputs that meet task-specific requirements and deadlines.

What You’ll Do

You will translate complex legal knowledge into structured work that can support AI training and evaluation. Success in this role requires both strong legal judgment and the ability to assess whether a task or solution is clear, accurate, and useful in practice.

• Develop tasks covering contract drafting and related workflows
• Create and assess litigation-support tasks
• Develop legal-research tasks and solutions
• Review written outputs against detailed rubrics

Requirements

This role is intended for an experienced legal professional who can work independently on complex subject matter and produce polished, practical written outputs. You must have an active US bar admission and a JD or equivalent legal qualification.

• Three to eight years of legal practice, preferably at the Associate level
• Active US bar admission
• JD or equivalent legal qualification
• Strong experience with contract drafting
• Strong experience with litigation support
• Strong experience with legal research
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues
• Ability to turn legal analysis into practical, high-quality tasks
