About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors write examples, review model outputs, and refine language so AI systems can understand prompts and respond more naturally.

In this role, your Korean-language work will help improve conversational AI by adding authentic expression, cultural context, regional nuance, and strong editorial judgment.

The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Korean Creative Writer for a remote contract role focused on LLM chatbot training. You will create authentic, culturally relevant responses to prompts and improve AI-generated text so it is accurate, engaging, natural, and appropriate for Korean-speaking users.

The work covers various writing and editing tasks in Korean, including prompt-response writing, text generation, and text summarization. A strong command of written Korean and the ability to work across different styles are central to the role.

What You'll Do

You will generate and edit Korean-language content based on provided prompts and guidelines. Your work will support the development of conversational models used across platforms where high-quality Korean language understanding is essential.

Careful proofreading and attention to detail will be important as you evaluate wording, grammar, tone, cultural relevance, and overall response quality.

Requirements and Preferred Experience

The role is designed for a highly capable Korean writer with strong grammar, editing, and content-creation skills. More than five years of creative writing or Korean content-writing experience is preferred but not required.

Prior experience writing responses to prompts or questions for AI or data-labeling projects is highly preferred. Writing experience is especially relevant; experience limited to rating or evaluating responses is less directly related to this position.

A portfolio of published Korean work, either online or in print, is preferred but not required. Experience using AI chatbot tools is an advantage, and basic English is needed to follow instructions and communicate with the team.

Interview Writing Assessment

The interview includes a short writing assessment. Questions will be provided in English and Korean, and applicants must respond in Korean. The quality, precision, creativity, and language control shown in these responses will significantly influence the qualification assessment.

Applicants should be ready to complete the following exercises:
