About AI training work

This project focuses on business-document evaluation and improvement—an expert-driven task where your judgment, domain knowledge, and ability to give clear, actionable feedback directly improve AI outputs used in professional settings.

The role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Japanese Business Document Review Specialist to evaluate and improve AI-generated deliverables across finance, strategy, marketing, and operations. You will use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to review materials, design realistic business scenarios, and provide structured recommendations so outputs meet professional standards.

Work type: contractor, part-time. Expected commitment: 20+ hours per week. Language: Japanese fluency required. Data type: business documents (analysis, reports, presentations). Tasks include evaluation/rating and text generation for model feedback.

What you'll do

Your daily work will center on reviewing AI-produced documents, designing use-case scenarios, and producing clear feedback that improves accuracy, structure, clarity, and business relevance.

• Review AI-generated business documents for precision, organization, and professional polish.
• Evaluate deliverables across finance, strategy, marketing, operations, sales, and HR.
• Design realistic business scenarios for analysis, reporting, presentations, and proposals.
• Use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to reproduce, test, and annotate deliverables.
• Provide structured, actionable recommendations to raise business relevance and final quality.

Requirements

Candidates must bring proven business experience and strong Office skills combined with the ability to give constructive feedback in Japanese.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years professional experience in strategy, finance, marketing, operations, sales, or HR.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Japanese fluency (reading and writing business-level documents).
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to give clear, structured feedback.
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) or willingness to learn quickly.

Preferred background

The following experiences make candidates especially competitive but are not required.

• Experience at a Fortune 500 company, top-tier consulting firm, or leading financial institution.
• MBA or advanced degree in a business discipline.
• Prior work evaluating AI outputs, document automation tools, or mentoring peers on business deliverables.

Logistics, pay, and engagement

This is a remote contractor role suited to experienced business professionals seeking flexible, part-time work (20+ hours/week). OpenTrain manages assignments, quality guidelines, and payments.

Compensation: hourly pay up to $70/hr; range listed is $30–$70 per hour. Employment types: contractor, part-time. All work and feedback will be in Japanese and conducted using standard office tools.
