The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an Instructional Design AI Training Specialist to design structured learning programs and educational content for training next-generation AI systems. In this remote contractor opportunity, your expertise in instructional design helps shape how AI models learn and reason.

This is a part-time role requiring less than 20 hours per week. The opportunity is open worldwide and is classified as entry level, with a stated pay range of $40–$75 USD per hour.

What You'll Do

You will develop complete, learner-centered programs and supporting materials for digital delivery. The work includes planning, content development, assessment design, collaboration, and ongoing refinement as project requirements evolve.

• Define clear, measurable learning objectives for specific program audiences.
• Design learning pathways from objectives through modules, activities, and assessments.
• Create engaging instructional materials, presentations, and digital learning resources.
• Develop basic assessment tools, including quizzes and rubrics, to measure learner progress.
• Collaborate with remote stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment.
• Iterate on program designs and materials in response to feedback and changing requirements.
• Document processes and best practices to support consistent quality and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Successful candidates should bring proven expertise in training, instructional design, or adult learning, along with the ability to create effective educational experiences for diverse audiences.
