OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help freelancers find projects, consolidate proof-of-work into a single profile, and grow a durable freelance career teaching AI systems how to perform real-world tasks.
OpenTrain works directly with contractors to turn domain expertise into structured signals that improve AI behavior. This role is part of that mission: your business presentation skills will be the training examples models learn from.
Why AI Training Work Matters
AI systems learn from human examples and judgments. Professionals who write, review, and rate business documents shape how models draft executive communications, prioritize data, and tell persuasive stories.
Many AI training roles are fully remote, flexible, and accessible to people who bring subject-matter expertise rather than prior annotation experience.
Work remotely and set much of your own schedule.
Turn everyday professional skills (PowerPoint, strategy, analytics) into paid AI training work.
Contribute directly to how future business writing tools perform.
The Role
As a Business Presentation Consultant you will create, evaluate, and provide precise feedback on business slide decks so AI systems learn to produce executive-ready presentations. This role combines content development, critical review, and written judgment.
Develop compelling, content-driven presentations for strategic business initiatives.
Distill complex inputs from strategy, operations, finance, and marketing into executive-ready slides.
Translate data-driven insights and KPIs into persuasive business narratives.
Advise on presentation storytelling, slide hierarchy, and information design.
Work across PowerPoint, Excel, and Word assets and provide structured evaluation ratings and written feedback.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
You will both produce polished slide content and evaluate document quality. Tasks combine hands-on slide construction with assessment and written commentary used to teach models how to prioritize, structure, and communicate business ideas.
Create executive-level slides from complex analytical inputs and raw notes.
Rate and annotate presentations for clarity, accuracy, relevance, and storytelling.
Provide concise, actionable written feedback that explains suggested improvements.
Ensure deliverables are error-free and aligned with executive messaging.
Manage multiple review tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a remote environment.
Requirements
This role requires strong real-world experience with business presentations and the tools used to build them. We are looking for professionals who can both craft slide decks and explain their judgments clearly in writing.
Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience creating executive-ready presentations from complex inputs.
Background in strategic planning, business strategy, operations consulting, financial control, or marketing analytics.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for executive-level messaging.
Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into clear, persuasive narratives.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Who Should Apply
This posting is listed as entry level for AI training work, meaning you don't need prior annotation experience to apply—but you do need demonstrable presentation expertise. Ideal applicants have consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or marketing experience and can produce polished executive communications.
If you enjoy turning complex analytics into clear stories and can give precise, actionable feedback, this role is a fit.
