The role

OpenTrain is recruiting an Indonesian Language AI Reviewer to support projects that use AI-generated Indonesian text and reference answers. You will evaluate model outputs, improve or create expert responses, and provide written reasoning that helps models learn.

This is a remote contractor role restricted to candidates based in Indonesia. The role is part-time and designed for flexible schedules across time zones.

What you'll do

Your daily work will combine evaluation, editing, and explanatory feedback. Tasks are rubric-driven and require consistency across repeated judgments.

• Create or improve expert Indonesian responses and explanations.
• Compare source materials and model outputs against project guidelines.
• Provide clear written reasoning to explain each judgment for model learning.
• Maintain high consistency and quality across review tasks.

Requirements

Candidates must meet every substantive requirement listed below; these are essential for producing reliable, actionable feedback for model training.

• Native or near-native Indonesian writing ability.
• Fluent professional English for detailed written feedback.
• Relevant professional, academic, or language expertise in Indonesian review.
• Experience evaluating fluency, register, translation quality, and cultural appropriateness.
• Ability to spot hallucinations, bias, and subtle meaning shifts in AI-generated text.
• Prior work in localization, editing, translation QA, or AI rubric-based review.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed project instructions consistently.

Schedule, pay, and scope

This is a remote hourly contractor workflow with flexible hours across time zones. The role expects 20+ hours per week.

Pay is $20.00 USD per hour. Based on the project schedule and duration shown on OpenTrain, estimated project earnings are $3,200.
