The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Hindi Scientific AI Safety Evaluator to support the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI models. You will combine expert prompt writing, response evaluation, and structured classification across specialized scientific topics.

The role requires careful attention to scientific accuracy, helpfulness, sensitive-content handling, and dual-use safety. You will apply your knowledge to technical information related to safety, security, and potentially sensitive scientific applications.

What You'll Do

You will create and assess Hindi-language scientific content while following structured evaluation guidelines. Your reviews should communicate clear, well-supported judgments about model performance and safety.

• Write expert-level prompts in Hindi across specialized scientific topics
• Evaluate model responses for scientific accuracy and helpfulness
• Assess whether responses handle sensitive content appropriately
• Annotate responses and classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines
• Review technical information involving chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear topics
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and safety issues in model behavior
• Apply scientific judgment to potential dual-use concerns

Required Qualifications

You should have advanced scientific training and the ability to assess technical claims with precision. A PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field is required, whether completed or currently in progress.

Native or near-native Hindi fluency and business-level written English are required. Prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required, but you should be comfortable evaluating specialized scientific content and explaining your reasoning clearly.
