About this role. OpenTrain is recruiting for a Hindi AI Safety Evaluation Expert to help improve the safety of advanced AI models. You will work with Hindi prompts and conversations, applying language fluency, cultural judgment, and structured evaluation standards to assess sensitive and dual-use topics. The role combines prompt creation, content classification, adversarial testing, and written reasoning in a remote, part-time engagement.

What you will do. Write expert-level prompts in Hindi across sensitive subject areas. Classify prompts and conversations using structured guidelines. Identify adversarial phrasing, escalation patterns, and other safety concerns. Document the reasoning behind evaluation decisions clearly and consistently. Apply Hindi language fluency and cultural context when assessing model behavior.

Required skills. Native or near-native Hindi fluency. Business-level written English. Strong written reasoning and close attention to detail. Sound judgment when handling sensitive and dual-use information. A bachelor's degree completed or in progress. Prior AI or machine-learning experience is not required.

Helpful background. Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content is useful. Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing is also relevant. Familiarity with Hindi-language cultural context and careful written analysis will help you make consistent decisions.

Schedule, location, and pay. This is remote work open to applicants worldwide, with candidates in India and the wider South Asia region especially welcome. The default commitment is 7 hours per week, and the pay rate is $18‑$22 per hour.
