The role

You will work as a contract, part-time Hindi Language Expert translating, proofreading, localizing, and reviewing Hindi content for clarity, cultural relevance, and consistency. Work spans digital, print, and audio materials and includes developing language resources like glossaries and style guides.

This role requires native-level Hindi proficiency and strong editing skills. Contributors must be located in the United States or Canada and can expect to work 20+ hours per week.

What you'll do

• Translate content between English and Hindi with attention to meaning, nuance, and tone
• Proofread and localize written materials for clarity and cultural relevance
• Review Hindi-language content for consistency, accuracy, and overall quality
• Help create and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other language resources
• Support verbal and written communication for project engagements and presentations
• Work across digital, print, and audio formats in a fully remote environment
• Perform evaluation and rating tasks to assess language outputs and translations

Requirements

You must meet the core skills and experience listed below — we will confirm language ability and editing experience during the application process.

• Native-level Hindi proficiency for professional written and spoken communication
• Strong translation, localization, proofreading, and editing skills
• Solid grounding in linguistics and language structure
• Familiarity with translation tools and digital content platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Prior experience in translation, localization, or language services is preferred
