The role
OpenTrain is hiring a Hebrew Language Expert to translate, localize, proofread, and review Hebrew materials with high standards for accuracy, clarity, tone, and cultural fit. This is contract, part-time work performed remotely.
You'll work primarily with text data (translation and evaluation tasks). The role includes both producing localized Hebrew content and rating or reviewing outputs to improve quality and consistency for AI systems.

What you'll do
Translate and localize materials from and into Hebrew with attention to accuracy and naturalness.
Proofread and review written content for clarity, tone, style, and grammatical accuracy.
Provide terminology support and maintain consistent glossaries or term lists.
Offer linguistic guidance and cultural context to adapt content for target audiences.
Perform quality assurance and evaluation tasks, giving structured feedback that improves deliverables and workflows.

Requirements
Native or near-native proficiency in Hebrew.
Professional-level written and spoken English.
Experience translating, localizing, or performing linguistic QA on Hebrew content.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate proactively.
Helpful background
Formal background in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
