The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an expert Healthcare Revenue Integrity AI Evaluator to review AI-generated charge review outputs, coding recommendations, and revenue integrity alerts. You will assess accuracy across charge capture workflows, charge audits, charge description master maintenance, revenue codes, and payer requirements.

This contract position is available to candidates in the United States who can work in English for 20 or more hours per week.

What You’ll Do

You will evaluate healthcare revenue integrity outputs and turn your findings into clear, structured feedback for AI training and improvement. The work requires careful review of charge accuracy, coding guidance, compliance requirements, and potential revenue leakage.

• Evaluate AI outputs for charge review, coding, and revenue integrity accuracy
• Audit charge capture results to identify missed or duplicate charges
• Maintain the charge description master, including charge codes, revenue codes, and pricing
• Analyze charge patterns and support corrective action planning
• Collaborate with clinical, coding, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies
• Review compliance against CMS billing guidance, OIG priorities, and payer rules
• Annotate AI outputs with structured feedback for training datasets

Requirements

This role requires substantial experience in healthcare charge capture, revenue integrity, or compliance operations. You should be comfortable auditing charges, interpreting billing requirements, reviewing coding-related outputs, and documenting discrepancies precisely.

• 5+ years of experience in charge capture, charge integrity, revenue integrity, or healthcare compliance
• Experience auditing charges for missed charges, duplicates, and charge capture errors
• Strong knowledge of charge description master management, revenue codes, and billing compliance
• Familiarity with CMS billing guidelines, Medicare Part A and Part B rules, and OIG compliance requirements
• Experience with charge capture systems, EHR platforms, or revenue integrity tools
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Experience

The following qualifications are preferred and may help you contribute effectively to healthcare revenue integrity AI evaluation work.

• CPC, CCS, CHFP, or CRCS credential
• Experience with 340B charge capture
• Experience in hospital revenue integrity operations
