The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Healthcare Revenue Cycle AI Evaluator to assess AI tools and AI-generated strategy content used in healthcare revenue cycle management. You will determine whether analyses, recommendations, and operational improvement plans are accurate, feasible, and useful in real healthcare settings.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced revenue cycle executive who can synthesize complex operational and financial information, apply managed care expertise, and communicate strategic judgments clearly in written and verbal English.

What You'll Do
You will review AI outputs and tools against the operational realities and financial goals of healthcare organizations. Your evaluations will help distinguish recommendations that are merely plausible from those that are accurate, actionable, and strategically sound.
Evaluate AI-generated revenue cycle performance analyses, strategic recommendations, and operational improvement plans for accuracy and feasibility.
Assess AI tools designed to automate revenue cycle workflows, identify revenue leakage, and improve payer reimbursement.
Review enterprise revenue cycle KPIs, including net collection rate, days in accounts receivable, denial rate, cost to collect, and cash collections performance.
Assess improvement strategies aligned with healthcare organizations' financial goals.
Apply expertise in managed care contracting and payer relationship management.
Review revenue cycle responsibilities across patient access, coding, billing, denials, and collections.
Annotate AI outputs and provide structured strategic feedback to support AI training datasets.
Required Qualifications
This role requires substantial executive-level healthcare revenue cycle experience. You should be comfortable evaluating complex analyses, challenging unsupported conclusions, and explaining your reasoning in a structured way.
At least 10 years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a VP, senior director, or equivalent executive.
Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end revenue cycle operations and healthcare financial performance management.
Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budget oversight, and performance reporting.
Experience leading large-scale revenue cycle transformation in a health system, hospital, or physician group setting.
Deep familiarity with managed care contracting, payer relations, and reimbursement optimization.
Excellent written and verbal English communication, including executive-level presentations.
Ability to synthesize complex revenue cycle data and AI-generated outputs into strategic recommendations.

HFMA Fellow, CHFP, or CRCR certification
Experience with revenue cycle technology platforms
