OpenTrain AI is looking for a French Audio Transcript Editor to review and correct French audio transcripts used to train AI speech models. You will compare recordings with existing transcripts, make precise edits, align word-level timestamps, and follow detailed style and formatting guidelines.
This is an entry-level, fully remote contractor role available to candidates in Belgium. The work requires at least 20 hours per week and pays $35 per hour.
You will complete task-based transcript editing assignments independently, using annotation platforms and transcript editing tools to deliver accurate, polished training data.
You should be a native or near-native French speaker with excellent listening comprehension across accents and speaking speeds. Careful attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential.
No prior AI or technology experience is required. You must be comfortable working with exact transcript timing, word-level accuracy, and detailed editorial rules.
Previous experience is welcome but not required. Backgrounds involving transcription, subtitles, language quality, or audio annotation may help you succeed in this role.
