The Role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Financial and Operations Chart Analysis Expert to create high-quality training and evaluation material for advanced AI systems. You will interpret complex financial and operational visualizations, convert them into graphical-reasoning tasks, and provide answers supported by explicit quantitative analysis.

What You'll Do
You will design analytical questions and answers based on diverse financial and operational charts. Assignments should require genuine interpretation and multi-step reasoning rather than simple visual description. Your work must be clear, precise, and objectively verifiable.
You will also collaborate remotely in writing and conversation, incorporate feedback, and maintain accurate terminology and notation throughout each deliverable.
Interpret candlestick charts, yield curves, drawdown charts, and market-volume charts
Analyze control charts, Pareto charts, process flows, and capacity or throughput charts
Draft questions involving calculations, comparisons, trend analysis, and interpolation
Produce unambiguous answers with comprehensive explanations and documented analytical steps
Apply accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology
Clarify units, scales, timeframes, categories, legends, and notation
Create benchmark and graphical-reasoning tasks with objectively verifiable answers
Incorporate feedback through effective remote written and verbal collaboration
Required Skills and Background
You should be comfortable interpreting axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations across different chart types. Clear written and spoken professional English is required so you can explain quantitative reasoning in a way that is accurate and easy to evaluate.
Relevant professional, academic, or research experience with financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts is expected. Prior AI experience is not required; your domain expertise can provide the foundation for this work.
