The Role
As a Finance Model Evaluation Expert you will evaluate language model outputs in finance-focused scenarios, develop rubrics to measure performance, and collaborate with researchers and finance specialists to improve training strategies and benchmarks. This is a contract, part-time role with work under 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do
Evaluate finance-focused LLM outputs to identify failure modes and incorrect reasoning
Create clear, repeatable rubrics for tasks such as deal analysis, M&A assessment, forecasting, and revenue builds
Collaborate with AI researchers and finance experts to shape evaluation strategies, benchmarks, and training approaches
Provide written feedback and examples that help guide model improvements
Requirements
2+ years of experience in capital markets, portfolio management, research, trading, quant, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, growth equity, FP&A, accounting, or financial consulting
Strong grasp of financial concepts: investment analysis, forecasting, revenue builds, corporate finance, asset management, and risk management
Proven ability to evaluate model outputs for finance-specific failure modes
Experience creating rubrics, benchmarks, or structured assessment criteria
Excellent written English communication
Preferred Qualifications & Who Should Apply
This role suits finance professionals who enjoy close analytical work and translating domain expertise into clear, testable evaluation criteria. Entry-level labeler experience is acceptable provided you meet the finance experience requirement.
CFA, CPA, CA, or an MBA in Finance is a strong plus
People with hands-on deal experience, forecasting or financial modeling background, or prior evaluation work with models or processes are encouraged to apply
