The Role
OpenTrain is seeking an expert Financial Analysis AI Trainer to review AI-generated financial analysis and business-finance responses. You will assess accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, prompt adherence, and practical usefulness.
You will also create detailed prompts and gold-standard finance outputs, including financial models, written narratives, and sensitivity analyses. The work requires strong judgment across corporate finance, valuation, forecasting, accounting linkage, and quantitative analysis.

What You’ll Do
You will combine financial expertise with careful editorial judgment to assess whether AI-generated work is numerically correct, logically sound, clearly explained, and practically useful. Your feedback and reference outputs will provide high-quality training data for AI systems.
Review AI-written financial analysis and business-finance responses for accuracy, clarity, and reasoning quality
Identify errors in financial modeling logic, valuation reasoning, forecasting, unit economics, and metric interpretation
Fact-check finance concepts and calculations, including assumptions and sign conventions
Create detailed prompts and gold-standard finance outputs with models, narratives, and sensitivity analyses
Rank and compare multiple responses to improve numeric correctness and practical usefulness
Apply financial modeling judgment, including three-statement logic and forecast sanity checks
Evaluate DCF mechanics, comparable company selection, unit economics, margin analysis, and variance analysis
Requirements
This role is designed for an experienced finance professional who can independently evaluate detailed analysis and explain complex conclusions with precision. Strong quantitative attention and C1-level English writing ability are essential.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
5 or more years of professional experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, consulting, or similar work
Strong command of three-statement logic, cash flow drivers, working capital, margin analysis, and corporate accounting linkage
Experience building and reviewing financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, cohort or unit economics, and pricing analyses
Strong valuation judgment, including DCF mechanics, comparable company selection, and clear assumptions
C1-level English writing ability and exceptional attention to quantitative detail
Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly to executive audiences
Comfort working independently across time zones
Helpful Background and Application
Prior AI data training, finance quality assurance, investment memo review, or analytics editorial experience is a strong plus. Familiarity with KPI dashboards and variance analysis is also helpful.
