Why AI training matters — and why finance skills fit
AI training (data labeling and human review) is the human foundation behind today’s models. For finance tasks, experienced reviewers turn real financial documents and synthetic scenarios into accurate, evidence-backed training data that teach models to reason about ledgers, invoices, and ERP outputs.
This role puts your accounting and finance skills at the center of model quality: your judgments and written feedback directly shape how AI systems interpret finance documents and workflows.
The role — what this project is
OpenTrain is hiring a Finance AI Training Expert to evaluate and validate financial data, invoices, ledgers, and ERP exports for accuracy and completeness. You will perform reconciliation and variance analysis, document AP/AR and month-end workflows, and help calibrate AI training datasets using evidence-based judgments.

Time commitment: 20+ hours per week.
Pay: Hourly, USD; rates vary by task ($10–$55/hr; top rate $55/hr).
