The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Finance AI Model Evaluation Expert to review, annotate, research, and provide feedback on AI-driven financial applications. You will assess financial content, prompts, reports, and model outputs against detailed rubrics and professional financial standards.
The role is well suited to professionals with substantial experience in financial analysis, valuation, investment research, or related decision-making who can explain analytical conclusions and identify ways to improve AI performance.

What You'll Do
You will combine careful evaluation with finance-focused writing, research, and prompt development. Your feedback will support stronger model outputs and more reliable financial applications.
Analyze, review, and edit AI-generated financial content for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Develop, refine, and evaluate prompts related to financial analysis, valuation, and investment decision-making.
Annotate complex financial data, reports, and model outputs using detailed rubrics and established best practices.
Author and review technical documentation, investment memos, due-diligence reports, and research summaries.
Evaluate outputs for logical consistency, robustness, and adherence to professional financial standards.
Conduct independent research and fact-checking to validate information used by AI systems.
Provide constructive feedback that supports prompt refinement and stronger finance-focused model results.
Required Experience and Skills
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, equity research, corporate development, investment management, or strategic finance.
Relevant experience includes producing or reviewing investment memos, valuation analyses, financial models, due-diligence reports, or market research. Prompt authoring, data annotation, content review, or AI model-output evaluation experience is helpful but not required.
