As an Excel Data Analyst on AI training tasks you’ll directly improve the quality of datasets used for text generation and evaluation, helping teams make better, data-driven decisions.

The Role

We’re hiring an Excel Data Analyst to support AI training through high-quality, real-world data analysis. You will review, clean, and validate document datasets, identify trends and anomalies, and produce clear reports and visualizations that inform stakeholders and improve workflows.

• Position type: Part-time contractor; 20+ hours/week.
• Work location: Remote — worldwide (English required).
• Dataset focus: Documents used for text generation and evaluation rating tasks.

What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day work centers on Microsoft Excel and delivering accurate, well-documented analyses for AI training teams.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis in Microsoft Excel.
• Review, clean, and validate datasets for accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Turn data requirements into clear analyses and reporting outputs.
• Build concise reports and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in complex datasets.
• Document methods, results, and recommendations with care and precision.

• Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders.

Compensation, Schedule & How It Works

Compensation is hourly, USD, at a range of $40–$55 per hour and paid per hour worked. This is a part-time contractor role with a minimum expectation of 20+ hours/week. You will work remotely and must be able to communicate in English.

Work focuses on document datasets for text-generation and evaluation-rating label types; you will use Microsoft Excel as your primary tool and deliver clear, reproducible analyses and reports.
